Des recherches internationales ont \u00e9tabli une corr\u00e9lation entre la mortalit\u00e9 infantile et les surfaces de sommeil trop molles. Les recommandations des experts pr\u00e9conisent souvent une surface de couchage ferme sans toutefois pr\u00e9ciser de fermet\u00e9 minimale acceptable. NZWTA Ltd peut d\u00e9sormais r\u00e9aliser des tests de surfaces de couchage pour nourrissons conform\u00e9ment aux normes internationales afin de mesurer la fermet\u00e9 de tout produit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Application<\/strong><\/p>\n

La norme AS\/NZS 8811.1:2013 \u00e9value la fermet\u00e9 des articles de mobilier pour nourrissons sur lesquels un b\u00e9b\u00e9 est susceptible de s'endormir \u00e0 l'horizontale. Ces articles concernent principalement les matelas, mais aussi les poussettes, les cocons, les matelas d'\u00e9veil, les berceaux, les couffins, etc. Le test mesure l'enfoncement de la surface de couchage \u00e0 l'aide d'un appareil simulant la t\u00eate d'un nourrisson. <\/p>\n
